When we became parents, we took the time to reflect deeply on our past education experiences, the current state of education, and the road we want our children to take for their education journey. Like any parent, we wanted the best for our children and had to determine what worked best for us and for them. We’re blessed to have a wonderful school and at-home learning support system to help develop our young learners and build their skills. Traditional educational models, which once served us well, must be revised to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century. A positive learning environment dedicated to bringing out the best in students is an absolute must nowadays. When we learned more about STEAM education, we were intrigued. Our children displayed interest in a variety of topics. We realized the diversity of STEAM and its multi-discipline approach would benefit our children by giving them an opportunity to explore an array of subjects and activities.
